Dutch partner Business Momentum (www.businessmomentum.eu) and Finnish partner Bonware unite their service- and development activities.
Hardinxveld-Giessendam, 1 December 2008.
OpenbravoERP specialists Bonware and Business Momentum have created a tactical cooperation in order to respond to market demands even better than before. OpenbravoERP, the fully webbased open source ERP solution with extensive functionality for procurement, sales, production warehouse, service and projectmanagement, has become more and more accessible for enterprises through partners as Business Momentum and Bonware, who offer the whole solution as being a service subscription which include customization of the program and the provision of the required services.
Ron Kramer, managing director of Business Momentum, says: 'OpenbravoERP has proven to us and our customers, to be a stable platform of development. While we are in possession of the source code of OpenbravoERP, we are able to fully adapt the software to the need of our customers. We have noticed great demand for this in the IT market. We have experienced, that if all licence costs simply disappear customers seem to be more willing to spend time and money on customization of the software. Within this new cooperation we will not only be able to share the costs of general customizations, but also to make research cheaper and increase our level of service. Together with Bonware, all this can be realized without the requirement of big investments, and in short terms.
Hannu Niemisto, chairman of the board of Bonware, says 'We found the same phenomenon in Finland, and experienced some good conversation with Business Momentum, via the Openbravo partner network. While executing a customization job for Business Momentum, we simply noticed that they needed some customizations that we recently had created, and that we also required certain customizations that Business Momentum already had realized. This was, and still is, the main reason of our cooperation. Now we are about to extend this to a more structurally planned cooperation in the areas of management, development and implementation. We regard the use of open source ERP-software as a great prospect for the future, and hope to make this prospect even better with this new cooperation.
